Rionegro, March 04, 2016 (CD). Advance notice from the document to be presented next Sunday by former president and incumbent Senator Álvaro Uribe Vélez:
“I am sending an advance notice of what I will say on Sunday in reference to Mr. Santos speech in Ibagué:
Section nine. Juan Manuel Santos, the context boss: Mr. Santos arranges and imposes impunity for narcoterrorism. In order to do so, he spares no effort to subdue Colombian institutions and coerce dissidents. In a clear violation of Colombian Constitution, Mr. Santos imposed the shortlist of three candidates for the Office of the Comptroller General of the Republic of Colombia, urged the Council of State of Colombia to void the election of the Inspector General of Colombia, subdued the Congress by money, claimed to be the “checkbook owner,” demanded an enabling act and a tainted way to reform the Constitution in order to legalize capitulation to Farc, approved contributions to mayors and governors on condition that they became plebiscite campaign managers, awarded journalists with agreements, and, by his ruses, had those journalists falling from grace dismissed. Mr. Santos manipulates the High Courts so that they accept everything based on his excuse for the “exceptional peace talks circumstance.” Mr. Santos allows Farc to proselytize with weapons and, when Colombians protest against it, he pretends to be brave. In 2014, he accused me of being a paramilitary, said that I extradited paramilitary ringleaders to silence them, and promoted a debate in the Congress against my reputation, despite that I supported him when Salvatore Mancuso accused him of having contacted the paramilitaries to overthrow a president.
